As the cap above shows, all full-screen stuff is new-style, all lower-third stuff is old-style this hour, giving a very transitional look.

And they just did a rough switch over from the old (black/red) break graphics to the new white (and a bit bland) ones.

The wipe in the headlines doesn't really look that great. Just a thickish diagonal curved line of the title graphics style wiping through.

EDIT: Don't like the supers. Compared to the polished look of old, it's just a white background (same as Asian Business Report etc. without any other graphics)

Breakfiller started out in the old look then quite literally switched mid presentation to the new look, with a new Box dog and white background.

Comparing and contrasting the directly comparable http://www.lazyorange.net/junk/worldovernight1.jpg and http://www.rp-network.com/tvforum/uploads/bbcw089.jpg ... I definitely prefer the outgoing astons. Mostly because, even if the text stops at the 4:3 area, I far prefer the versions that actually touch both edges of the screen. The "tab" DOG looks weird without the further solid area to the left where the N24 clock originally went.
