it's meant to be an endcap, not a website with a navigation bar at the bottom.
ITN [News] make said programming so why advertise the other bits? You don't see BBC things with
BBC News
BBC Manchester
BBC Birmingham
BBC People
etc written on them do you?
It's not a website, therefore it isn't a navigation bar is it? Five coloured boxes do not equal a navigation bar.
The reason ITN rebranded was to fully integrate its digital technology offering and to communicate the diverse range of content on offer to its customers, I therefore thought it made sense (which you'll notice is NOT spelt s.e.n.c.e) to reference the main five strands to ITN's rebranded bow in the way that I have in this mock.
I think you'll find that the BBC advertise their website, radio stations, live concerts, education initiatives, mobile clip services and more on all their channels. I'm sure ITN would if they had a TV channel, but they don't, so there's not much point in comparing them in the first place is there.

But they're not though are they. They are five coloured boxed with the different arms of ITN in them.

thank you for this. I have no idea what you are referring to with this comment however

fine then. I'll use endemol as an example. They now have different brands for the company that does big brother and the bit that does ready steady cook but they don't name them all on their endcap.
Does what it should do as an endcap so yeah, well done. Agree with Hyma on why even bother plonking the different areas of ITN on the bottom as well as the logic that to your average viewer they mean nothing.

Thank you for your comments.

What are you on about?
It's called branding. It's perfectly fine although not too keen (as always) on the black for a few seconds
