Nice colour scheme, surprised that that kind of tone wasn't used for ITV1-4.

These are very good pad.

I like the handwritten '5' or 'five' - it's cool in a way. I vote 4/5.

For animation, it would be nice if the hand-drawn 5/5ive would animate that the BBC2 Optics ident.

I would like it if it was done like this but at the moment im not liking it however everything else is nice

That was sort of what I was going for.

There would be different ways for the idents to animate. For instance on some the number / word may be "scribbled" by an invisible pen, or perhaps "sprinkled" onto the screen. In others they might "explode" into view, or "blow" across the screen like sand in the wind.

I feel there is a lot of scope for nice interesting idents there. Or maybe it's just me...

Hmmmm... well I'm sorry you feel this way. The theme I was going for was casual simplicity. The channel would be remoulded as an "alternatives" channel, something really different from other channels with cult programming, even more skewed than ITV4. Much of Men & Motors current male programming would move to ITV4, with new comissions moving to ITV5.

I guess you're right though, you can't always hit the target. Thanks for your views.

Should have said, helps to share what your vision and intent is on something as different as this otherwise it's just you with an idea which only you know.

No matter, 1 out of 2 in a day isn't doing badly.
