BBC: The World At One

The World At One From BBC News

The One O'Clock News gets a whole look look, name and format. The Look, green! Name, The World At One, and the Format, a News show with a focus on Business, Politics and regional, national and international news.

The show would now be 60 minutes long, with 12 minutes regional news, and then at the end a 2 minuet news summery and a 1 minuet weather forcast. So, the main news coming from london before regional news is 45 minutes long

Anyway, the mocks. I got the idea from BBC Radio 4's The World At One. I kept the look they have on the website, but made it to look suitable for TV.

The Headlines. The white & green bars at the top & bottom would fold in (like News 24 Astons) and that would make it the headline seperator.

Parliament Aston. Becouse of the show being manily about politics, this aston would be used when an MP, Local Councellor, Peers from the Lords and other political people, including Political Reporters.

News aston. The BBC News is also the on-screen dog, with the green.

The "other" ticker. Used for news, sport, business (as in this) and for added info.

I dont know if I like it or not.

A very good idea - I like it all - especially the special politics aston. The One is IMO the best on BBC1. I think an hour long programme would be a good idea. Nice to see London ( Houses of Parliament ) in the background instead of a newsroom.
