Goodmans GDB3 Problems

Has anyone else on here been having problems with the Goodmans GDB3 Freeview boxes? According to DigitalSpy it's quite a severe problem, with locking up, text refusing to show, sudden rebooting etc...

Is this something to do witht the 7-day EPG arriving soon?

The 7 day EPG is affecting anyone with version 3.2 of the firmware.

Now if you have a GDB2 3.11 (the one with the screensaver on the radio stations) will fix this bug.

There is a new version of the firmware coming out soon to support the new EPG which should fix these bugs.

Well, mine is running 3.2, as it was out of the box. I'll just leave it on at 3 in the morning for the next few weeks.

im running version 3 on gdb2, not 3.11

3.0 has a few bugs in it. If you have a RS232 9pin serial cable you can upload it into your box from your PC.

Otherwise just wait for the OAD download of the new version.

With regards to the GDB3, there is apparently a version of 3.11 compatable with that box. Check out the GDB2 update thread in the Digital Spy DTT board for more info on it.

So far so good. Not one lock-up since 8am today. Just waiting for the OTAD now, I want that 7 whole days...
