That does look nice actually, and its about time they change to widescreen. Looks better then the current block/cube thing they have going on at the moment.
Where have all the good mockers gone? This place used to be so lively and interesting. Now we have mocks like this. OK, your new, but maybe have a look back on threads from last year, maybe just the beginning of this year, and see what you are up against. (I really don't want to be too harsh).

It looks good, but little effort was involved. The letters are also too small

The letters are not small at all. I have seen smaller lettering on a billboard. It just looks like a bunch of blocks stuck over an image. It is to old fashioned. BBC News have got their 'astons' just right and their 'martins' are great also.
I really like this, and think the colours are just right they way they are. They look subtle and classy (probably more than ITV News actually deserves). Would love to see more.
