The Sport Thread

It's not really odd is it? To really establish the fact they had football league highlights it had to have it's own branding, both sensible and possibly a contract requirement from the football league and it makes sense for all live football to come under the 'Match of The Day Live' brand rather than something 'The Football League Show Live'. I do however think they should use the MOTD brand for the Carling Cup and give live football league games the MOTD music. (Latest post by Jon Wells)

Coronation Street

LOL, I know, I was just joking about them bringing Ena back. I think her death was mentioned in a video called "The Jubilee Years" from around 1985. Although it's interesting to think how the old characters would be portrayed and who would play them if they did an EastEnders-type spin-off set in the Second World War or something. I think there was talk of them televising the Daran Little wartime novels but the disadvantages were too big - they would have had to build a whole new s... (Latest post by BBCNicky)

ITV's GMTV

That wasn't the question, the question was how long has GMTV been advertised on ITV2. I don't know the exact answer though. I would imagine though they may have always advertised on ITV2 since the days of GMTV2 in the same way GMTV has always been guaranteed a couple of slots on ITV (and even TV-am was before it!).
MasterChef Australia 2009 on (UKTV) Watch

Has anyone got any ideas why UKTV Watch, who are running the Aussie version of MasterChef, (which is way different to the UK version) changed the theme music from Network Ten's Katy Perry's Hot & Cold to what seems to be something unknown which is great for the show but very short. Would it be legal rights etc? (Latest post by watchingtv)
