NOW TV

As a triallist I shouldn't perhaps say this, but maybe that's just as well, considering the status of a couple of these I'm currently engaged in. (Nothing further to say!) (Latest post by DVB Cornwall)

O2 & Virgin Media To Merge

Exactly my point! Maybe Sky Mobile could join Three (can't see that happening, their network is falling apart) or Vodafone (possible), but I don't know what they would gain from doing that. If you vox pop'd the average Sky Mobile customer they probably wouldn't be able to tell you that O2 are supplying their mobile signal. (Latest post by valley)

Sound break up on ITV Hub

The Now TV version of the app has a bug where the Part 1 scene ends but instead of the ad break playing, you get a few seconds of Part 2 before the ads abruptly kick in. Similarly, at the end of the ad break, the app plays the last few seconds of Part 1 again before starting Part 2. File under "mildly annoying". (Latest post by Jonny)

Disney+ UK Launch Date Confirmed

And, to be fair, Season 19 wasn't out for most of the lifespan of Simpsons World (in fact I don't think it came out until a few weeks after Disney+ launched), so those commentaries were exclusive to there for a while. There was a Season 20 DVD release in the US and a handful of other countries (not the UK), though it was a bare bones one, with no commentaries. And released completely out of order, before season 14 came out. (Latest post by james-2001)

AppleTV 4K and Apple Video Services.

Seems hard to see how it could work in the long run, they can only produce so much new content, and not all of it will appeal to everyone, so when someone's seen everything they're interested in and it could be a while till the next new show they're interested in... then what? The delays caused by Coronavirus make it even worse. It's good to have original content as an anchor, but you need a fair amount of other content to get people to keep watching and feel like they're getting their mo...
